2025-2026 Budget and School Calendar Adoption

Dear Harborfields Community,
 
I hope this message finds you and your family well. Last evening, the Board of Education adopted the 2025-2026 Budget with a tax levy of 2.36%, which is within the allowable tax levy limit. This budget was designed to support and maintain all current programs and to provide enhancements where possible that meet the interests and needs of our students.  Our annual budget newsletter with detailed information is posted on our website and will be delivered to all homes in the district within the next few weeks.  In the meantime, residents can visit our budget information page on our website to view our latest budget presentations to the community.
 
As indicated on the school calendar, the budget hearing will be held on Tuesday, May 13, 2025, at 7:45 p.m. at Oldfield Middle School.  The annual district school budget vote and Board election will be held on Tuesday, May 20, 2025, between 2:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. at Oldfield Middle School. 
 
I am also pleased to share the attached 2025-2026 school calendar that was adopted by the Board of Education last evening. As is done each year, a complete calendar will be developed over the next few months and is expected to arrive at all homes in late July. In the interim, you may use this abbreviated version as a reference when planning your personal calendars for the next school year.
